Juvenile
Juvenile osprey resembles adults, but have white tipped feathers on their back, giving them a speckled appearance. Juvenile osprey eyes are orange; as they mature they change to yellow.

Contemplating faith
Age at first flight generally 50–55 days (7-8 weeks). This is Baby’s 53rd day. Ready to fly.

Eagle and osprey are not friends 3 – The chase
The osprey is good at fishing and the bald eagle not so good. Bald eagles often chase Osprey, until they drop their catch. When the osprey drops its fish, the eagle will immediately stop chasing and grab the food mid-air.
