“We have two readers without faith”, Announced Harriett. “I call them Skeptical Hippos”.
The first has a PhD in Human Anatomy and Physiology. Her credentials are impeccable. Dr. Pinkerton has taught in Metropolitan Tidewater, VA for over 20 years, and is the Dean of Student Medical Advancement in the institution. Characteristically, her concern is that of documentation. She wonders if the facts of our story are based on sound scientific research. Sadly, her inauspicious query bespeaks a lack of faith, and makes me circumspect of the entire educated human elite. Perhaps if she had read the sections entitled “Life on Earth” and “Telepathy” more carefully, she might be less inclined to question the obvious, and more able to accept the changing relationships of nature on earth.
Nonetheless, I am very appreciative of any and all, feedback. I thank Professor Pinkerton for her interest. The following is the most accurate response I can provide at this time:
It is I, who provides The Doctor with the information he reports. Our telepathic connection is quite developed now. He seems easier to reach and listens more attentively. If you would like, once again, for me to explain the art and science of telepathy, send The Doctor an e-mail describing your current grasp of this paranormal phenomenon, and he will gladly complete your understanding in detail, and provide the appropriate documentation. The Doctor’s e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org. A bit of advice; his brain works better before the cocktail of 6:00 at his house.
Our second skeptic is more concerned with The Purity of Essence.
He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a double major in chemistry and physics. He taught at Zimbabwe’s prestigious Watts A. Mater University from 1963 through 1986.
More about our second Skeptical Hippo in and upcoming post. Thanks for reading.
